I've loved classical ballet since I was a child, and this calendar is a wonderful way to permanently keep these pictures that are all too brief on a stage. This is one of a large collection of wall calendars with ballet motifs I put on the left wall of my entrance hall: therefore, the first thing I see in the a.m. is BALLET! For still photos, I prefer those of ballerinas, because the best of danseurs (male dancers) is seen in motion. Ballet to me is like 3/4 art & 1/4 athlete, give or take a little. Somebody once laughed at a male dancer in my presence; I merely asked him to look at the muscles in that man. SILENCE. He could've put anybody down with one kick! I've also seen the best on stage, too. This is a treasure to me, as are all my other ballet collections.Product details

The pictures were all of professional shows but one photos had a girl with her toes not pointed for ballet, kind of not very balletic
I bought this calendar for my daughter who is a dancer and she loves it. She can't wait to use it in 2013.
